The art I make comes from somewhere between “the despair of not knowing what to do or how to help in this horrific world” and “this life is the most profoundly strange and fantastical thing that’s ever happened to me”
I’m fascinated with where the mundane ends and where the extraordinary begins, and I often find that this special place is full of humor - the periphery vision kind of humor that might not even be there.
My artistic aspirations are to continue learning how inhabit that space outside of the the world’s muddy, sticky worries of stress, anxiety, competition and judgment - where I can just make things beyond goods or bads.
